A total of 18 senior citizens were killed and then robbed.
The Murdering Spree
Diane Delahunty was a 79-year-old woman living in an upscale senior citizen home in Plano, Texas. On December 3rd, 2017 she was robbed, smothered, and killed. Her death is the 20th elder death in the greater Dallas area. The M.O (modus operandi) was that they were all senior citizens, living in upscale senior homes, and they were robbed and smothered. A few of them lived after their attack but most passed away.
The murdering still happening in 2018 and all the way to March when they finally had a suspect. This suspect was Billy Chemirmir. Investigators believed that Billy would dress up as maintenance or a health professional at these facilities and that’s how he would break-in. All jewelry was stolen from the houses and most of the time they were smuggled with pillows.
